About Me

I am one of the Silver Spurs H & P adult leaders. I have three horses right now, "Elby", "Jos" and "Stormy". I've owned/rode Jos for 26 years, had Storm for 19 years and Elby was given to me last year. I LOVE to trail ride! I work in Louisville and live in Floyds Knobs. My husband's name is Chuck and my daughters are Cora and Audrey.

I grew up on horses, been riding since I was about 3 years old. I've raised, trained and mostly trail rode horses my whole life. 4H is new to me, I wasn't in 4H as a kid - I'm so glad my girls have the opportunity to be a part of such a great group!

Ashley, I got a new horse!

He's actually my dads but I prolly have to ride him all the time. haha

but we got him at an auction which was kinda scary but hes really sweet. his name is Shotgun, they said that the people who they got him from said that he is a Spotted Saddlebred and hes 7 years old. hes really skinny right now but the way his body is built (like yellowstones) i dont think he will get much fatter. both of them dont have wide sholders and ray said that the width of the sholders help you determine if they will get fatter or not and he said yellowstone wont. so i dont think Shotgun will either. but can i still enter Shotgun and my other horse Sammy if i bring them down on Thursday?

thanks for the info and i was just wondering if you had a full trailer cuz well everyone i have asked is busy , dont have the time, full ,or just cant do it and we kinda just killed the truck that we would use so ya get back to me thanks bunchez !!!!!!!! (gg)
